Lance A. Slatton’s journey into the healthcare field began with a deeply personal experience: his grandmother’s battle with dementia, which profoundly impacted him as a young man. Witnessing the disease’s effects on both his grandmother and his family ignited a passion for medicine and a commitment to helping others. This early experience set the stage for his healthcare career. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a shift to virtual platforms, leading Lance to launch “All Home Care Matters” in May 2020. The podcast and YouTube show aimed to continue supporting caregivers while maintaining public health safety.
